Sweet Caroline

Last year, It was a very crucial year for me.

First was, I have to stop schooling for financial matters,

and the other one was being friends with the one you love.

I heard a lot of posts and blogs about this one :

"Being friends with the one you love is an everyday torture."

Before I knew it, I was feeling it already.

Let's just call him at JB.

Just to give you a heads up,

Jb is my neighbor.

Before everything started, there were times that I saw him from work every morning whenever

I am going to school.

"Kinda cute.." I thought.

Days passed and I really have no idea where he lives until one day, few days before Christmas, he approached me.

"Hi, you're Angel, right? Carla's sister?"

"Yeah. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Carla told me that you sing, aren't you?"

"I don't know, I'm just singing lines in the four corners of the bathroom."

"Haha. I didn't know that you have that sense of humor. By the way, I'm JB."

He lend his hand and we shook. T'was a bit awkward but it seems like there were butterflies in my stomach.

But not that much. :)

"There's this program that we're planning to conduct on the 24th. Can you come?"

"Oh, are you the organizer of the program?"

"Uhmm yeah. I am one."

"Uhm I think I can't. There's a lot of things to do."

"It won't take so much of your time, promise."

"Let me think about it. But what's the big deal of going to that program if I am only going to watch the show?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was asking if you can sing with me."

And my face went like, "WHAT?!?!?! Are you serious?!?!" (Of course, I didn't take the chance to 

talk that way. :)

I was speechless.

"Hey, can you come?"

"I wanna think it over. Can I?"

"I hope you'll go."

"I'm just going to tell my sister to tell you about my decision, would that be fine?"

It took me 3 nights to think about it because :

First, I didn't know him that much.

Next, What are we going to sing? (Love Song perhaps?)

Last, there were butterflies!

Ever since my sister already told him about my approval,

He was always at home telling me a lot of stuff,

telling me about his likes and dislikes,

his experiences,

his dreams,

and it trigger to share mine too!

(TAKE NOTE: for this duration, he never opened about the 'singing thingy' yet.)

As the days passed,

I was able to get to know a lot of things about him

and that makes me have a little bit crush on him.

FINALLY!

"Angel, I want this to be our song on the 24th."
